The Happy Pack is a home-based dog care and boarding business where dogs are treated like part of the family. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, loving environment where dogs can relax, play, get plenty of attention, and enjoy their stay while their families are away.

Every dog is different, so we tailor the day to their personality, energy level, and routine. Days may include playtime, walks, backyard time, relaxing, cuddling, enrichment, meals, naps, and plenty of one-on-one attention.We want dogs to feel like they're enjoying a fun day at a friend's house—not sitting in a kennel.

Yes! Overnight boarding is available for dogs who are comfortable staying in a home environment. Your dog will have a cozy place to sleep, plenty of companionship, and a routine designed to help them feel comfortable and at home.

We intentionally keep our pack small so we can provide personalized attention and maintain a calm, comfortable environment. Quality of care is always more important to us than the number of dogs we can accommodate.

We provide a home environment with plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. However, there may be brief periods when dogs are left unattended depending on the day's schedule. We'll always discuss your dog's needs, routine, and comfort level before their stay.

Because The Happy Pack is a social home environment, dogs need to be comfortable around other dogs. We carefully consider each dog's personality and temperament to make sure they are a good fit for our pack. Safety and everyone's comfort always come first.

Absolutely! Walks can be incorporated into your dog's stay when appropriate. We'll take into consideration your dog's age, energy level, leash manners, weather, and your preferences.

Dog park visits are not automatically included. Because every dog has different needs and comfort levels, we evaluate this on an individual basis and will only take a dog to a dog park with your prior approval.

Yes! We encourage you to bring your dog's regular food whenever possible. Keeping your dog's normal diet and feeding schedule can help make their stay more comfortable and reduce stomach upset. Please provide clear feeding instructions and enough food for the entire stay.

Yes, when appropriate. Please provide medications in their original packaging along with clear written instructions for dosage and timing. We'll discuss your dog's medication needs before the stay.

We'll let you know exactly what your dog needs before arrival. Yes! Communication is a big part of The Happy Pack experience. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time away knowing how your pup is doing. Depending on the length of the stay, we'll provide updates and photos so you can see your dog enjoying their time with the pack.

Yes! We love capturing the fun. We'll ask for your permission before using your dog's photos on The Happy Pack website or social media. Your privacy preferences will always be respected.

Please tell us! The more we know about your dog, the better we can care for them. During the intake process, we'll ask about things such as feeding schedules, medications, allergies, personality, routines, triggers, walking preferences, and anything else we should know.

Safety comes first. We carefully monitor interactions and manage the environment based on each dog's personality and behavior. If we determine that a dog is not comfortable in our home environment or is creating a safety concern, we'll communicate with you and determine the best course of action.

Your dog's safety is our top priority. We'll have your emergency contact information and veterinarian information on file and will contact you as quickly as possible if an emergency occurs. If immediate veterinary attention is necessary, we will seek appropriate veterinary care.

We recommend a meet & greet for new clients whenever possible. It's a great opportunity for us to meet you and your dog, learn about their personality and routine, and make sure The Happy Pack is a good fit.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for holidays, summer vacations, spring break, and other busy travel periods. Because we intentionally keep our pack small, availability can fill quickly.

Our cancellation policy will be provided during the booking process. Because we reserve your dog's spot specifically for them, advance notice is appreciated whenever plans change.

Yes. We require current vaccination information appropriate for dogs participating in our home-based social environment. We'll collect this information during the intake process.
